Architecture and Cultural Heritage — Identity + Web Design
2025
A UK based initiative that explores our shared human story through Islamic beauty, design and civilisation across countries and continents.
The identity comes from collecting imagery from the Islamic world, with the main inspiration taken from Andalusia, Spain.
City of Granada, with a name meaning "pomegranate," served as inspiration for the logo, which depicts a six-petalled flower, similar to the blossom of the fruit.
The idea behind the logo was to represent Islamic symbols without making them associated with only one nation or culture.
The launch event happened in House of Lords in London on October 28th and featured in the Middle East Eye.
